Shenzhen Builds Immersive FPV Racing Venue with 4,500 Drones

The 2026 Sky Cross FPV Drone Challenge kicked off at Shenzhen Universiade Sports Center. A formation of 4,500 drones lit up the night sky with dynamic light patterns of stereo obstacles including gravity gates, triple gates, air passages and S-curves, turning the site into an immersive virtual-real integrated racing arena.
Realizing in-depth integration of technology and sports, the drones coordinate precisely with FPV racing drones to present a spectacular "human-drone harmony" visual feast. Synchronized lighting and flight tracks bring an unprecedented viewing experience.
It opens up new display forms for cultural tourism galas, sports events and commercial activities, further promoting the innovative application of drone technology in cultural and entertainment fields.
