In Guoyang County, Bozhou City, Anhui Province, 1.86 million mu of winter wheat has entered a critical period of spring field management. Local authorities have been promoting the application of intelligent agricultural machinery and precision field management measures to support scientific and efficient agricultural production.
In the contiguous wheat fields of Dianji Town, Guoyang County, the winter wheat has turned fresh green, full of vitality. Under the operation of farmers, several plant-protection drones fly at a constant speed along pre-set routes to carry out the multi-purpose spraying operation. This year, relying on multi-centrifugal nozzle technology, the atomization performance of plant-protection drones has been improved by 30%, achieving the effects of large flow, fine atomization and even coverage, so as to realize precise fertilizer supplementation and scientific pesticide application.
To seize the key window of spring field management, local agricultural technical departments have organized 170 agricultural technicians and more than 300 science and technology correspondents to provide targeted services to villages and households. They go deep into the fields to monitor seedling conditions, soil moisture and plant diseases, provide face-to-face guidance and hands-on training through field lectures, and formulate personalized management plans for farmers, laying a solid foundation for a bumper wheat harvest.
